Summer Sip's N Bites: 

Summer FUN in Downtown Camas! Enjoy sips of hand crafted tropical cocktails, mocktails, and tantalizing bites from Tommy O’s, Nuestra Mesa, Grains of Wrath, FEAST 316 and more available throughout Downtown Camas. Make the most of your summer with sizzling shopping specials throughout town! Enjoy the island tones of steel drums in the air from local musician Terry Baber, aka the Northwest Panman.

Your $25 ticket includes a passport with 15+ “sip & bite” locations. This is a 21 and over event. Guests also receive one free prize ticket to enter to win a fabulous “Summer Staycation” Package from the merchants, dinner for two, movie tickets at the historic Liberty Theatre, free coffee, free treats, free bottle of olive oil , and more. Vintage & Art Faire:

Saturday, August 24th, 9am-3pm
The 15th Annual Downtown Camas Vintage & Art Street Faire will feature 60+ vintage and local art vendors all in the charming tree lined streets of Downtown Camas.

Vintage offerings include a huge variety of indoor and outdoor furniture and home and garden items as well as clothing and accessories. Art offerings include quality paintings, woodworking, glass art, metal work, handmade jewelry, fiber art, repurposed art, and more. Live music and fresh, delicious food will also be available.  The friendly and inviting ambience of the town will complete the experience!

The Faire will be hosted on Saturday August 24th, in Downtown Camas on 4th Avenue and Birch Streets, near Camas Antiques, 305 NE 4th Avenue.

Come early for fresh coffee at 9am, enjoy lunch at one of Downtown Camas’ many fine eating establishments and stay until 3pm finding the perfect items for your home and garden and enjoy live music throughout the day. We hope you can join us in Downtown Camas!

September First Friday: 

First Friday is coming September 1st and the theme is “Celebrate Art!” We are going to celebrate everything ART! This event is a combination of art installments, art shows, art activities, kids art and after-hours shopping, dining and family friendly artful activities.

Let’s “art it up” in Downtown Camas!

  • Plein Air – For years, the “plein air” (French for open air) painting event in Downtown Camas has been an exciting part of the September First Friday! We can’t wait to CELEBRATE ART again this year with the ‘plein air’ feature. The tradition of “plein air” painting gained popularity in France in the 1870’s and was vital to the impressionist art movement. Local artists will be painting at different locations throughout Downtown Camas during the day and the works of art will be displayed outside of Camas Gallery from 4pm-8pm. People are encouraged to peruse and vote for their favorite pieces and People’s Choice ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 community favorites.

Camas Art & Wine Walk:

We are thrilled to announce the first annual Camas Art & Wine Walk throughout historic downtown Camas. We have a total of 17 wineries participating and will feature local artists throughout historic downtown Camas. This is a fund-raising event benefiting the Camas Students and Families Foundation, (CSFF) a 501c3 organization that helps students and families in our community.

What is a Shopping Challenge?

Have you ever heard of competitive shopping? Shopping challenges opportunities to shop small for more chances to win! Pick a challenge (or two, or 5!) from the Shopping Showcase and complete the task provided. Examples include “Shop from each of our two bookstores!”, “Purchase something soft and cozy!”, “Show us a receipt that ends in a 7!”,  “Buy a piece of local art!”, or “Shop from a store you’ve never been in!”. Show off your purchases to the DCA Volunteers for more chances to win. We’ll even give you another chance for every $10 you spend in Downtown Camas!
